Butterflies, Wine-stoppers & Horses !
The past few years have been busy ones for me. I have studied with some wonderful instructors; Kathy Johnson, Deanna Griffin Dove, Jennifer Geldard, Chad Trent, Brad Pearson and more. I can make many kinds of glass objects and beads now in several different types of glass. The question for me has become one of figuring out what I want to focus on and how to spend my time. I have returned to my love of seed beading and I am working more on combining the glass I make into new jewelry looks. I have spent time learning the ancient art of Kumihimo to be able to put some of my glass on my own hand woven cords. Currently I am making new butterflies, new Goddesses and new fish!

SheGlass in Galleries! In September 2005, I started showing at Blue Skies Gallery in Downtown Hampton. This is the premier Artist gallery in the area, with almost 100 local artists participating in a variety of creative venues. I have also shown my work at The Charles Taylor Art Center and the Riverview Gallery in Portsmouth, VA. Several of my pieces have taken awards, and one was featured in a newspaper article about the show it was in. |

Etsy is an online sales venue for artist to sell handmade pieces. It is not an auction site. I am in the process of opening an online store there and offering my beaded items as well as my glass beads and sculptures for sale. All of my beads are computer kiln annealed. They are very carefully cleaned and checked for sharp edges. If necessary, the edges of the holes are finished with a diamond coated grinder.
