Finely made finials are finally here! What is a finial? Oh, you know... it's that thing on your lamp that holds the shade on. Historically, they used to be very elegant (check out some antique lamps!) but commonly now they are dull, cheap and insipid. These little gems are melted right onto the threaded brass, which is then polished after annealing to restore the luster of the shaft. They become a focus of the up-light, they flatter the decor, and they make a statement about the home and the people!
